Evolution – Employee Self-Service (ESS) is a web-based portal which allows employees to access their payroll information via the Internet. Through the Evolution ESS your clients can provide their employees the ability to view and print payroll vouchers and W2s, access their demographic data and view paid time-off balances. This paperless payroll system will allow your clients to reduce routine inquiries from employees, provide their employees with greater access to payroll information, and ease the burden of distributing payroll vouchers to their workforces.
Evolution ESS will also allow employees to make changes to their basic demographic data and provide access to state and federal W4 forms. When employee changes are made and W4s are submitted, these changes to employee data can be automatically updated within the Evolution payroll system.
Employees can also request time-off through the Evolution ESS system and managers can view and approve those requests through ESS. Employees are assigned to ESS managers through Evolution, allowing them to view and approve time-off requests for those employees who are assigned to them. Managers can also post messages to all of their employees and can provide links to other sites.
